It was 2022, and at an LSU tailgate full of noise, music, and people, Frankie spotted Rebecca and decided subtlety was overrated. He very intentionally “accidentally” bumped into her to introduce himself. It worked.

Their first date turned into a five-hour walk and conversation in the park, where they talked about everything and nothing and realized pretty quickly this might be something special. Not long after, they took on a year of long-distance between Baton Rouge and New Orleans, making the most of weekends, road trips, and FaceTime calls.

Eventually, long distance turned into living together in New Orleans while Rebecca finished school. Now, they’re on the Northshore, house-hunting and dreaming about their first home together - still talking just as much as they did on that very first date.

The couple couldn’t be happier to spend the rest of their lives together.
